Rollenrodel Kit, by Bachmann
These are produced via special order by the engineering team at Bachmann rodel and I don’t make money on them.
The Utah Rodel axle pattern is threaded in M8 x 1.25 and accommodates 10 x 84mm or 8 x 120mm (or 110) wheels per side.
84mm accelerates faster and is better suited to steep, windy, well-paved, trafficless roads like in te Alps, but I rate as substandard for American highways. 120mm (a 50% increase in circumference) have a higher top speed, are longer wearing, and are far safer for rocks, bumps, and manholes.
Made to fit the Bachmann/Lindauer/Torggler hole patterns, but adjustments can be made for any sled.
Frame only. Requires wheels, bearings, spacers, and hardware.
I can also provide information to help you construct your own.
